Takeda China Innovation Challenge
Reconstructing the patient experience in the age of digital health.
Takeda China’s incubation platform — TakedaSpark — is part of its strategy to accelerate the use of digital innovation for disease treatment and healthcare services. Through TakedaSpark, the company is seeking potential partners and new projects in three strategic areas: solutions to accelerate and scale disease screening and diagnosis, drug + digital health/digital therapy solutions, and data analytics and infrastructure initiatives. More than 100 local startups are expected to participate in the initial Innovation Challenge, with up to 8 finalists identified and assessed for potential incubation funding support for a proof of concept (POC) implementation and market validation by the end of 2021. As part of Takeda China's digital strategy, TakedaSpark seeks to combine Takeda’s existing disease area expertise with emerging digital solution and technology providers.

Empower Takeda with high-quality, effective software to bring digital therapeutics and pharmaceuticals to market. For example, evidence-based interventions driven by software programs to treat, manage or prevent disease.

Through co-innovation technology and AI algorithms to accelerate the implementation and promotion of new diagnostic solutions. For example: epilepsy, HAE preliminary screening tools, diagnostic tools, etc.

Use IoT, smart devices, and big data to better understand HCP and patient needs. For example: all-in-one solutions, VR interaction, large language model processing, artificial intelligence services, etc.
